Women in Road Safety, an initiative of the Automobile Association of Namibia (AAN) and the MVA Fund, was established in 23 April 2016
Our mandate to actively and positively influence society on road safety and safe driver behaviour and to emphasise on the role women can play in the reduction of road carnage in Namibia.
It is our goal to strive for safety on our roads to help reduce the loss and pain experienced as a result of accidents.
The initiative is guided by a steering committee of ladies who are dedicated to raising awareness of road safety issues and educating new and established drivers about safe driving. Many of the members are in one way or another involved in the automotive industry, but membership of Women in Road Safety is open to all women throughout Namibia.
